The artist has exhibited at The Guns in Norway, The Ancient High House in Stafford and The Tunnel Night Club in New York.

Marvellous, Magical And Freakish

The work often draws on the marvellous, magical and freakish. Creating hybrids, amalgamations and monstrosities. These unstable in-between bodies can act to both challenge our knowledge system or re-appropriate that which is already marginal by reinforcing its 'otherness'. However as Meskimmon discusses ".... precisely because it can not be fixed it is always becoming." and offers the possibility of change. The images attempt to reside in an area where the viewer is both seduced and repulsed, both intrigued and appalled, both believing and disbelieving the images presented. The work aims to remind us of those aspects of the body that remain unconcluded, unfixed and outside categorisation despite systems of order and control.

Photography and video as a medium acts as both the real and the unreal, existing in-between as Sontag discusses in On Photography "cameras are the antidote and the disease, a means of appropriating reality and a means of making it obsolete." The experimenting and development of a multi-disciplinary practice is 1 believe important to the work itself.
